Senior Homeless Prevention Officer

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Homeless Prevention Officer to join our committed team in tackling homelessness within the Borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of individuals and families at risk of homelessness, using a person-centred approach to undertake detailed housing options and support needs assessments.
  • Take actions to prevent homelessness and make statutory homeless determinations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including accommodation providers and community safety teams.
  • Apply a trauma-informed approach to provide an effective homelessness prevention service for individuals and families with multiple and complex vulnerabilities.
