Role Overview
Savills is seeking an experienced Strategic Land Consultant to join our South Coast Development Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating our significant strategic land portfolio and contributing to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with developers, promoters, investors, and key contacts to source and appraise new strategic land development opportunities.
- Coordinate project due diligence.
- Liaise with internal and external planners, masterplanners, architects, and consultants to establish options within a development.
- Carry out development appraisals on new and existing projects.
- Lead external teams from the planning/promotion stage through to delivery.
- Prepare development briefs, business plans, and programs.
- Produce monthly update reports.
- Conduct feasibility and viability appraisals for reporting forecasts.
- Produce quarterly monitoring reports on strategic land promotions.
- Build relationships with existing and future landowner clients.
People Leadership
- Set clear objectives in line with company/Divisional/team strategy and measure performance against these.
- Conduct regular 121s, complete thorough probationary, interim, and annual appraisals as per company guidelines.
- Support team members in career development via training, coaching, mentoring, and the promotion and succession/talent processes.
- Adhere to all company processes with regards to people management and role model professional behaviors at all times.
- Ensure recruitment is completed professionally and in line with team/Divisional/company goals, thinking strategically re future needs and in line with our diversity goals.
