About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operations Manager to join our team at Atlas. As an Assistant Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial excellence and commercial success.

Our Commercial team provides essential management services across various departments, including Projects, Life Cycle, and Service Charge. We cover all aspects of operational expenditure and ensure contracts and capital projects are expertly administered.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing commercial matters across your designated accounts, helping Atlas achieve its operational budget and financial goals. You will monitor risks, maximize opportunities, and ensure that all expenditure delivers value for money.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial management of FM supply contracts, client contracts, Lifecycle Replacements, and capital projects.
  • Responsibility for the management and pricing of contract variations.
  • Supporting the supply chain in procuring new contracts.
  • Reviewing and negotiating contract Terms and Conditions.
  • Managing supplier and client invoicing and payment.
  • Revising contract service schedules and setting service levels.
  • Preparing specifications for service alteration.
  • Document control to auditable levels, supporting our financial and quality-assured system.
  • Ensuring effective Quality Assurance and Value for Money for all activities.
  • Maintenance of an FM data management system, tracking all service variations, including client services contract amendments and contractual variations.
  • Price business opportunities for the Business Development Team, providing advice on how to structure FM contracts and set up supply chains.
  • Commercial Mobilization of new contracts and Demobilization of existing contracts.
  • Identification of Risk and opportunities, managing both the Commercial Risk and Innovation and Opportunities registers.
  • Enforcement of effective Corporate Governance in line with company procedures and policies.
  • Review and control of Scope delivery to eliminate mission creep.
  • Support all other teams in relation to commercial issues.
  • Ensure all activity is carried out in line with customer and organisational KPIs.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years' commercial experience in an FM provider.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Pro-active approach.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to prioritise against strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organisation.
