We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Vets Now Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill animals. As a member of our out-of-hours team, you will be responsible for monitoring patients from our referral services and assisting veterinary surgeons in complex medical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Provide specialized care for critically ill animals, monitor vital signs, and assist veterinary surgeons in complex medical procedures.
  • Wards: Deliver comprehensive inpatient care, including administering medications, managing feeding schedules, and ensuring a comfortable environment for recovering animals from both the emergency and referral services.
  • Patient Care: Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.

Working Pattern:

This role involves working every other weekend, 2 x 12-hour shifts between 07:00 to 22:00, plus a fair share of bank holidays.
