Job Title: Business Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our Commercial team at Lifelancer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and securing new business opportunities across the Nordics and Western Europe, aligned with our Commercial Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue clinical trial opportunities that align with our core competencies.
  • Develop a robust sales pipeline to achieve individual and group sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Proposal and Budget Development teams to create high-quality client documentation.
  • Lead and manage key client relationships with Simbec-Orion Senior management and project teams.
  • Deliver high-quality sales reporting and adhere to departmental processes.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Life Sciences or Business Studies.
  • Proven business development experience in selling Clinical Research Organisation services.
  • Proven track record of meeting and overachieving sales targets.
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in selling to Biotech, small and mid-cap pharmaceutical companies.
Desirable:
  • Educated to Masters/PhD or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in Oncology, Rare disease, anti-infective/vaccines.
  • Fluent in another European language.
