Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Protocol National Limited is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team at a Further Education College based near Preston.

This is a part-time, temporary role that requires the successful candidate to provide learning support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities, those with special educational needs, and those in receipt of High Needs Funding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in practical lessons such as Animal Care, Horticulture, and Agriculture
  • Work within the college's Inclusive Learning department to provide tailored support to students
  • Assist students with literacy and numeracy needs
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
Requirements:
  • GCSE English and Maths C or above
  • Experience of supporting people in a care capacity or educational setting
  • Experience in Animal Care, Agriculture, or Horticulture
  • DBS on the Update Service
