**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Cleared and Bilateral Derivatives Analyst to join our team at Mason Blake. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a sell-side or buy-side Derivatives function and a strong understanding of Derivatives products and their life cycles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and manage events impacting Cleared and Bilateral OTC Derivatives positions, including resets, premiums, unwinds, credit events/rolls, corporate actions, and client transitions.
  • Conduct thorough post-value control reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency of the department and improve the overall control framework.
  • Collaborate closely with the Derivatives Data team based in America.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex queries raised by Portfolio Managers.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a sell-side or buy-side Derivatives function.
  • In-depth knowledge of Derivatives products and their life cycles.
  • Operational expertise in back and middle office environments at a sell-side or buy-side firm, preferably with experience in Cleared and Bilateral Derivatives.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements.
  • Familiarity with SQL or VBA.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range:

£70,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
