About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Specialist to join our Chief Technology Office, providing ongoing support to critical business applications across the Bank. As a key member of our Application Support Team, you will be responsible for managing the GoAnywhere MFT solution, managing application support tickets, and providing extended out of hours support.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the GoAnywhere MFT solution from a BAU perspective and support various project activities across the bank.
  2. Manage application support tickets from initial triage to closure, including providing out of hours support where required.
  3. Keep all application support documentation updated to ensure all team members are aware of material to enable knowledge sharing.
  4. Assist in problem solving and working with the MIM team where issues become a P2 or P1 incident.
  5. Look at ways of improving the service we deliver as a team to the end business.
Requirements
  1. Experience in a similar application support role with extensive working knowledge of GoAnywhere MFT, 3rd party vendors such as Bottomline, SWIFT, and a solid understanding of data and file encryption methodologies.
  2. Ability to be flexible and work on project initiatives as part of the day job.
  3. Sound technical knowledge of Windows, FTP, SFTP, IP ranges, Firewalls, Service Accounts, data encryption methodologies, and general security set-up.
