About the Role

We're seeking a talented Photographer to join our Creative Team, responsible for capturing stunning images that showcase our brand's unique aesthetic. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our Art Director and other stakeholders to develop new creative concepts and execute them to perfection.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the photography for ecommerce imagery and marketing assets, ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.
  • Photograph all brand imagery in line with our brand guidelines, using multiple lighting setups and techniques to create visually stunning images.
  • Brief and manage photographic freelancers, ensuring they meet our high standards and deadlines.
  • Follow studio shoot schedules, ensuring timely delivery of images and meeting client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain shoot guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality across all shoots.
  • Collaborate with retouchers to maintain colour consistency and standards within the studio.
  • Manage and maintain all photographic and IT equipment, props, and supplies on set.
  • Identify and address any photography issues or development areas, providing solutions and recommendations to the management team.
  • Problem-solve technical issues on set, ensuring seamless execution of shoots.
  • Work with the Art Director and stakeholders to develop new creative concepts, staying ahead of competitors and driving brand innovation.
  • Ensure shoot lighting guides are up to date and accurate for each set.
  • Attend pre-shoot meetings to collate relevant information and agree actions with the shoot team.

Your Ideal Profile

  • Previous experience working in-house for a commercial fashion brand.
  • A strong model and still life photography portfolio demonstrating expertise in applied techniques and digital studio photography.
  • Experience interpreting client briefs and following brand guidelines.
  • Confidence in developing and executing new lighting setups and creative concepts.
  • Proven track record of working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Digital SLRs, ideally Canon, and a thorough understanding of lighting equipment, mainly Profoto.
  • Proficient in Capture One, Photoshop, and other Adobe software.
  • Strong understanding of image colour correction and retouching.
  • Positive attitude and responsiveness to change.
  • Critical appraisal of own work and ability to take feedback from others to achieve high-quality imagery.
  • Mac and PC literate, with good MS Office skills.
  • Collaborative mindset, working with others to create elevated imagery.
  • Video experience a bonus.
