About the Opportunity

We are currently recruiting an Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer to join our team at Hyde Coatings Ltd, based at our bespoke treatment facilities in Stalybridge. As an Aircraft Component Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for carrying out the application of various paints to a range of aerospace products, ensuring the general cleanliness and safety within the building and supporting other areas of the business when required.

Duties Include:

  • Using paints on a stock rotation to meet customer specifications.
  • Application of polyurethane, epoxy, dry lubrication, abrasion resistant paints, lacquers, and other specialized coatings.
  • Thickness Testing and Viscosity testing to ensure quality control.
  • Paperwork and documentation to support quality assurance.
  • Equipment maintenance, including filter changes and routine cleaning.
  • Working closely with the inspection department to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the production team to meet deadlines and reforecasting.

Essential Skills:

  • Application of paint products in an Aerospace/Automotive environment.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous aerospace paint application knowledge.
  • Good communication and planning skills.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a paint application environment.
