As a Masking Operator, you will be responsible for the processing of various aerospace components through the masking section in preparation for treatments such as Anodise, Vac Blast, and Paint operations to customer drawing requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness and safety within the building and supporting other areas of the business when required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Using various masking tools and media to protect parts
  • Understanding of various aerospace drawings
  • Working to specification requirements
  • Paperwork
  • Working closely with the inspection department regarding opportunities for improvement
  • Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and reforecasting

Essential Skills

  • Must have a keen eye for detail
  • Be able to work within a team or as an individual

Desired Skills

  • Any previous aerospace knowledge, an understanding of aerospace engineering drawings
