Fibre Installation Specialist

Nano Fibre UK is seeking a skilled Fibre Installation Specialist to support our growth in the Birmingham area.

We are a fast-growing company committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers through our fibre broadband engineers in the region.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and self-driven, with the ability to carry out installations into homes and support us in delivering our customer promise.

Key requirements:

  • Experience in a networking engineering environment is preferred, but not required as we offer full training and accreditation support.
  • FTTP fibre installation experience is a plus, but a strong attitude and willingness to learn are more important to us.
  • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills, a focus on teamwork, and excellent customer service are essential.
  • Good logical skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, and a willingness to find the best customer solutions are required.
  • Nano Fibre UK covers different areas of the country, so occasional travel may be necessary.
  • A valid UK driver's licence is required for visiting homes in your area.
  • Occasional irregular hours and overtime may be required to achieve our customer service targets.
  • Medical fitness and the ability to carry out a physically demanding job, including climbing poles, are essential.
  • Able to work in teams or alone to meet our SLA KPIs set by our partners.
  • Willingness to work in other locations within the UK if required, with accommodation provided.
