Revenues and Benefits Assessors

We are seeking a skilled Revenues and Benefits Assessor to join our team at NEC Software Solutions. As a Revenues and Benefits Assessor, you will play a crucial role in processing housing and council tax changes, RTI cases, and new claims, ensuring excellent accuracy and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
Main Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service to clients through various communication channels, ensuring delivery against service contractual requirements.
- Meet deadlines and standards while performing duties with minimal support, maintaining high levels of workload consistency.
- Complete tasks efficiently, adhering to Right Time Indicator, Right Benefit Indicator, and Subsidy regulations.
- Coach and mentor junior staff, sharing best practices and leading update sessions to enhance team skills.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments through publications, briefing notes, and bulletins, and participate in external training sessions to improve team performance.
- Maintain a positive attitude, taking on additional duties as needed, and contribute ideas to enhance business processes.
- Consistently exceed minimum contractual standards for productivity and accuracy.
- Experience with Northgate/Academy/IBS (Civica) Systems.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Housing Benefits/Council Tax.
- Ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach.
- IT competence.
- Self-motivation.
