Civil Engineering Site Manager Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Site Manager to join our team at RGB Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the civil engineering and groundworks aspects of a new site in Essex, installing underground cabling, utilities, and power supply to a renewable energy plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site security, health and safety, and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Oversee the installation of underground cabling, utilities, and power supply
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring projects are delivered within budget
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Site Manager in the Civil Engineering and/or Groundworks sector
  • Commercially and contractually aware with sound negotiation skills
  • Excellent technical construction knowledge and understanding
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
  • Demonstrable civil engineering experience within heavy civils
  • Experience of working on large-scale Civil Engineering projects
  • Full driver's license
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
