We are looking for a highly skilled Fluid Systems Specialist to join NRL Recruitment's team in Bristol. This staff/permanent role involves working with the Fluid Systems Team for a client in the nuclear industry, supporting Engineers on a nuclear new build project. The successful candidate will need to obtain basic security clearance (BPSS).

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing, reviewing and updating system documentation for mechanical and thermos-hydraulic design, operator instructions, human machine interface, safety and environmental control logic design, as well as periodic testing in accordance with engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes and tools.
  • Instrumentation and control: defining I&C functional requirements of the system and producing Instrumentation & Control logic.
  • Mechanical design: designing components e.g pumps, fans, pipework, pressure relief valves, tanks, performing thermal-hydraulic calculations and modelling using in-house or commercial tools, ensuring 3D model consistency with intended system design, and formulating equipment specifications.

This role comes with an estimated salary of £62,000 - £72,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
