Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fluid Systems Engineer to support our Engineers in the Fluid Systems Team for a nuclear new build project in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce, review, and update system documentation for mechanical and thermos-hydraulic design, operator instructions, human machine interface, safety and environmental control logic design, and periodic testing in compliance with engineering rules and methodologies.
  • Perform analysis for defining Instrumentation & Control functional requirements of the system and produce I&C logic, including writing Functional Requirements, Detailed Functional Diagrams, FTP specifications, and P5 text descriptions.
  • Mechanical design: Sizing components, perform thermal-hydraulic calculations, ensure 3D model consistency with intended system design, formulate equipment specifications, and provide data in respective databases or datasheets.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders around the system to ensure delivery of a product meeting requirements set by all disciplines.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 per annum
