Logistics Agent / Site Stock Advisor

Salary c£23,400-£28,000, Depending on Experience, plus Excellent Benefits.

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Agent to join our team at Calor Gas Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in maintaining site safety standards, managing inventory and financial controls, and assisting in transport planning through effective customer master data management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support site management in achieving compliance obligations, inventory, financial, health and safety, and transport.
  • Contribute to a safety-first operation and drive towards an incident-free workplace.
  • Place orders on system for delivery/collection using SAP.
  • Take inbound/outbound calls for customer orders, queries, and general information.
  • Process orders, refunds/credits, and cylinder refill agreements.
  • Receipt stock in/out received on trailers.
  • Inventory stock control, complete physical stock counts and be able to enter stock counts onto system.
  • Raise and receipt Purchase orders and ensure correct stock levels are maintained.
  • Review daily aborts, cancels, and fill returns.
  • Complete weekly banking reports.
  • Support drivers in reviewing daily runs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar systems.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
