Senior Fund Accountant Opportunity

FryerMiles Recruitment is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Senior Fund Accountant to join a leading Financial Services Company in Central London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing several entities within the Fund Accounting team, preparing all deliverables for review by the Fund Controller. This includes external fund accounting and reporting, quarterly and annual fund accounting, internal fund accounting and reporting, and preparation of drawdown/distribution calculations and notices for external investors.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 5 years of post-qualified experience, a strong team player, highly motivated, and flexible within their role to take on new challenges and responsibilities. Experience of Credit Funds and Investran would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • External Fund Accounting and Reporting: review of quarterly and annual reporting to Limited Partners, including financial statements and partner statements
  • Quarterly and annual fund accounting for several Guernsey and Luxembourg based closed-ended funds within the Junior debt strategy
  • Internal Fund Accounting and Reporting: developing and improving internal reporting outputs
  • Quarterly and annual reporting for other entities related to their Funds, including accounts for General Partner entities and internal carry reporting for Founder Limited Partner members
  • Preparation of Drawdown/Distribution calculations and notices for external investors, monitoring cash & liquidity alongside middle office colleagues
  • Key role in year-end Audit, preparing deliverables for Auditors and managing internal timelines

Requirements:

  • ACCA or ACA qualified with 5 years post-qualified experience
  • Strong team player, highly motivated, and flexible within their role
  • Experience of Credit Funds and Investran would be an advantage

Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 per year plus bonus
