This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Senior Staff Nurse on County Treatment Unit, a busy day case unit within County Hospital.

About Us

Our hospital provides emergency treatment, planned operations, and medical care from Royal Stoke University Hospital and County Hospital in Stafford. We pride ourselves in giving high standards of care throughout the patient's treatment, providing a relaxed, friendly environment in which they can receive their treatment safely.

Main Duties
  • Use strong organisational skills to lead the team on a shift basis, supporting the scheduling team to ensure optimum chair efficiency
  • Liaise with wider clinical teams to troubleshoot issues
  • Have demonstrable clinical expertise, relevant to SACT administration
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Staff Nurse who has:

  • A Higher National Diploma in Adult Nursing Studies or equivalent
  • Health Related Degree or currently working towards
  • Current NMC registration
  • Chemotherapy related study
  • At least 2 years post-registration experience within oncology or haematology
  • Demonstrable interest in and commitment to the professional development of others

The estimated salary for this role is £43,041 - £57,191 per annum, depending on experience.
