Senior Hydraulic Modeller

As a Technical Director at Fusion People Ltd, you will lead a dedicated team of hydraulic modelers and engineers, establishing best practices, driving innovation, and contributing to the success of projects related to water systems and infrastructure. Your expertise will be essential in producing and running 1D/2D hydraulic models, Flood Risk Assessments, Flood Alleviation Schemes, and Drainage Strategies on a wide range of schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of hydraulic modelers and engineers
- Establish best practices and drive innovation
- Contribute to project success
- Produce and run hydraulic models
- Provide technical support to the team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements:
A degree in a relevant discipline, such as Geography, Civil or Environmental Engineering, is essential. Membership with CIWEM or working towards membership is also required. You must have the ability to manage project delivery and provide leadership, as well as a proven record of delivering Flood Alleviation schemes, Flood Risk Assessments, and Drainage Strategies. Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as Autocad, QGIS, and hydraulic modelling software, is also necessary. Strong project management and leadership skills are essential for success in this role.
