Job Title: Shift Team Leader

Charles Hunter Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Team Leader to support a brand-new children's home in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire.

About the Role:

As a Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers in a residential setting, providing care and support to young people with complex needs. You must have experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviors.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing, enthusiastic, and has hobbies to share with the young people. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of support workers in a residential setting
  • Provide care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young people
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of the young people
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements:
  • Experience working with complex needs and challenging behaviors
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the update service
