Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Affairs and Human Resources Officer to join our team at JAC Recruitment (UK) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering administrative and human resources duties, with a focus on payroll management, insurance, pension schemes, salary increments, recruitment processes, employee onboarding, departures, document control, and data governance.

About the Role:
  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a UK-based HR, labour, or administrative role, specifically in areas such as insurance, pensions, or other administrative functions.
  • A background in payroll/HR-related roles is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in business-level English and native-level Japanese is required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver 80% of administrative and human resources duties, with 20% focused on personal assistance tasks.
  • Pursue activities related to payroll management, insurance, pension schemes, salary increments, recruitment processes, employee onboarding, departures, document control, and data governance.
  • Respond to general inquiries from employees regarding various matters.
  • Manage the procedures associated with transfers, promotions, and document administration.
  • Maintain relationships with external payroll providers (outsourcing partners) and oversee future payroll operations.
  • Provide support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a UK-based HR, labour, or administrative role, specifically in areas such as insurance, pensions, or other administrative functions is essential.
  • A background in payroll/HR-related roles is mandatory.
  • PA-related experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in business-level English and native-level Japanese is required.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment is essential.

Salary and Benefits: £35,000 - £45,000 per year (dependent on experience), including a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.
