Market Director - Portfolio and Performance Leader

Sports betting, gaming, and interactive entertainment are evolving rapidly. As a Market Director - Portfolio and Performance Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the portfolio of projects under the Markets team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals, and providing a holistic view of our roadmap across the super-regions. Your primary focus will be on enhancing performance and efficiency within the Markets teams while fostering agile ways of working to meet evolving business needs.

Reporting to the Performance Director, you will be part of the Markets team who are responsible for defining Markets transformation approach in close collaboration and in line with the wider Performance team, so that we achieve our ambition to be a product-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the best transformation approach for our Markets teams (Ladbrokes Coral and Retail) to achieve our ambition to become a product-led organisation.
  • Promote and instill agile methodologies and practices within these Markets team, ensuring alignment with the wider Performance LT and the ways of working embraced by the dedicated teams for our super-regions.
  • Analyse performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive data-driven decisions across the Markets LT to achieve optimal results.
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects within the Markets team, defining and maintaining a clear roadmap for project execution across the super-regions.

Requirements:

  • Expert in Project/Programme Management, planning, organising, and overseeing tasks, resources, and timelines to achieve specific objectives and deliver successful outcomes within a defined scope.
  • Strong agilest, proven track record of working and embedding agile methodologies.
  • Strategic thinker, thinking beyond immediate tasks to contribute to long-term strategy and vision.
  • Highly experienced in project and programme finance including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making, to support strategic goals.
  • Extensive experience with Risk Management, the ability to identify, evaluate and manage risks by developing and implementing risk management strategies, frameworks, policies, procedures, and practices.
