Job Description

**Job Title:** Project Management Officer

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Officer to join our team at Iconsys. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. **Develop and Implement Project Plans:** Create detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivery of every project on time and within budget and scope.
  2. **Manage Resources and Stakeholders:** Manage internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. **Monitor and Control Project Performance:** Measure project performance using internal systems, tools, and techniques, and report and escalate matters that need raising to leadership as needed.
  4. **Collaborate and Communicate:** Manage relationships, collaborate across teams, clients, and stakeholders, and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  5. **Document and Report:** Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation in line with the Iconsys quality management and document structure, and report on project progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  1. **Background and Experience:** A background in business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis, along with 10 years' experience in a similar management role.
  2. **Technical Skills:** Advanced Microsoft Project, along with strong knowledge of other Microsoft packages.
  3. **Soft Skills:** Effective communicator, written and verbal, situational adaptability, and problem-solving capability.
  4. **Team Player:** A team player as well as able to work on own initiative.
Working Conditions:
  1. **Location:** Based at the office in Telford, Shropshire.
  2. **Travel:** Travel within the UK and overseas.
  3. **Working Hours:** Working beyond normal hours in order to meet any required deadlines.
