About the Role

The Information Technology Manager role is a key position within our organization, responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our computer systems and electronic data, as well as developing and implementing customized systems to meet the needs of our business.

  1. Proactively maintain all business systems and applications, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  2. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide proactive support and resolve IT-related issues.
  3. Implement new technologies and direct the work of system and business analysts, developers, and support specialists.
  4. Evaluate user needs and system functionality to ensure that ICT facilities meet the needs of the business.
  5. Provide support and assistance on all IT-related projects, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  6. Plan, develop, and implement the ICT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  7. Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  8. Guarantee the smooth running of all ICT systems, ensuring they are secure, reliable, and efficient.
  9. Ensure that users adhere to software licensing laws and regulations.
  10. Provide secure access to the network for remote users, ensuring they have the necessary permissions and access controls.
  11. Secure data from internal and external attacks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data.
  12. Manage crisis situations involving complex technical hardware or software problems, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  13. Understand the capabilities and constraints of technology and resource implications in terms of budgets, training, and recruitment of specialist staff.
  14. Administer and implement all computer-related technologies, including network security, internet operations, and software upgrades.
  15. Ensure the residence teams are informed on all newly implemented systems and changes to policies and procedures.
  16. Provide support to LAN/WAN infrastructure, Virtual infrastructure, and ensure existing technology is used to its best potential.
  17. Understand all relevant systems to know their capabilities and limitations to help develop and implement applications/systems.
  18. Provide strategic and tactical support for key software systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
  19. Tackle support requests in a timely fashion in accordance with technical Support Process and SLAs, coordinating testing and deployments.
  20. Participate in technology planning and strategy activities to meet business objectives.
