Twenty84 is proud to be partnering with a leading law firm in recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst.

About the Role

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of pricing and commercial finance professionals, reporting directly to the Client Commercial Finance Manager and having a dotted line into the Client Relationship Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Client Commercial Finance Manager in managing the financial aspects of the firm's biggest and most prestigious client.
  • Track areas of work, performing regular analysis on profitability, variances, and overall hygiene factors.
  • Report on key budget areas, undertaking budget variance analysis, proactively identifying issues, reconciling work in progress reports with information from submissions, client reporting, and other ad hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Aggregate, handle, analyze, and provide insights on large data sets.
  • Attend client core-team meetings, taking ownership to record and follow up on action points with the Client Commercial Finance Manager, and the Senior Service Delivery Manager.
  • Support the relationship partners, Client Commercial Finance Manager, and Senior Service Delivery Manager with the annual global retainer negotiation with the client.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in the legal or professional services sector.
  • An accounting qualification would be an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Critical and evaluative thinking, especially when handling and analyzing large data sets.
