Music Educator

**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Music Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in the Thetford area. This is a long-term maternity cover role, potentially lasting two terms.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the Music curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise and maintain the classroom and associated resources, instruments, and equipment.
• Work effectively with other staff members, both within the department and throughout the school.
• Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Comply with the school's policies and implement them reliably.

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
• Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Music Teacher in a Secondary School setting.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
