Consultant Psychiatrist - Medway Community Mental Health Team

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Medway Community Mental Health Team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing mental health and learning disability services to a diverse population. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality mental health and learning disability services to patients
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • MRCPsych or equivalent and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register
  • Approved Clinician and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatry
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
