Job Summary
We are seeking three Volunteer Counsellors to join our team across three service hubs in Chester, Ellesmere Port, and Northwich. As a Volunteer Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and developing your therapeutic experience in the drug and alcohol field.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide non-judgmental and supportive counselling services to clients facing problems with drugs and alcohol.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Accrue counselling hours towards your future accreditation with BPS, BACP, or UKCP.
- Commit to a minimum of one year, depending on the service and number of counselling sessions.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and the desire to learn.
- A non-judgmental and supportive approach towards people who are facing problems with drugs and alcohol.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
