About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Educational English Instructor for a thriving secondary school in Luton. This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking teaching environment with strong values and a commitment to staff development.
Main Responsibilities- Teach English to secondary students in alignment with the national curriculum, inspiring and motivating them to develop a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, promoting academic excellence and fostering a passion for the subject.
- Engage in continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
- Contribute to the wider school community and support the school's vision and values.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in teaching English within a secondary school setting.
- Proven experience in teaching English, showcasing a strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills, essential for creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working, driving improvement and innovation in education.
Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
