About the Role:

GSL Education's South Yorkshire branch is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Assistant to join a supportive Secondary School in Huddersfield. As a vital member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in providing support to students and assisting teachers in their daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering effective lessons and provide individual and small group support to students.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the overall development and well-being of students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with secondary school children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Currently residing in the UK.
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service.
  • Passion for education and student support.
