We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teaching assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching Careers. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to make a positive impact on the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN) and semi-structured emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting children with complex needs, and be able to work effectively in partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.

This position offers a competitive salary of £9,000 per annum, based on a 37-hour working week, with the opportunity to earn up to £90 per day as a daily rate. The contract type is long-term, with the possibility of part-time work considered.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children in the classroom
  • Preparing resources with the teacher
  • Working effectively in partnership with other professionals and parents/carers

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching Careers, you must hold a valid Right to Work in the UK, an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, and provide two professional child-related references.
