About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our Children's Disability team as a Senior Practitioner/Deputy Team Manager.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering effective and efficient services for children, young people, and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include providing professional supervision, adhering to Social Work England's code of practice, and contributing to team development.
You will work closely with other agencies to ensure the well-being of service users and provide complex assessments, case management, and support.
This role requires flexibility and a commitment to working outside office hours to meet the diverse needs of families.
Requirements
- A current registration with Social Work England
- Good knowledge and post-qualifying experience in children's or adults' services
- A sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- A proven ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
