Job Title: Science Equipment Coordinator

About the Job:

  • Coordinate the preparation, organization, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials
  • Support science teachers during practical sessions and experiments
  • Ensure that all health and safety guidelines are followed, including COSHH regulations
  • Maintain clean and safe laboratory spaces, meeting safety standards
  • Assist with stock management, including ordering and organizing resources
  • Support students during practical lessons, providing guidance when needed

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum

Location: Rochdale

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Science Technician in a secondary school setting
  • Full understanding and practical application of COSHH regulations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
