About the Role:We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to oversee the commercial activities of our charity retail stores in the North East England/Cumbria region. As Area Head of Commercial, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving profitability, and ensuring the smooth operation of our stores.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability
- Lead and manage a team of commercial managers to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with shop management teams to source donated stock and optimize store layouts
- Analyze commercial data to inform business decisions and drive improvement
- Support the business strategy and implement new plans to achieve business targets
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably in the charity retail sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret commercial data
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Ability to work collaboratively with shop management teams and other stakeholders
