Technical Administrator / Quality Assistant Role


Manucomm Recruitment is seeking a Technical Administrator / Quality Assistant to join a team of 6 in a role that will support the Technical Team at a successful food manufacturer in Dorchester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of technical and quality within the food industry.


The role of the Technical Administrator / Quality Assistant will involve:



  • Monitoring safety, legality, and quality issues relating to raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods in production and warehouses to ensure standards are met.
  • Assisting in the management of technical functions, including microbiology, non-conformances, and traceability/mass balance.
  • Assisting in the management and completion of internal audits.
  • Monitoring and managing technical services.
  • Attending NPD handovers and ensuring understanding of requirements.

Requirements and Responsibilities


This role requires an excellent communicator with attention to detail and a passion for technical and quality. The ideal candidate will have a real breadth of experience in a fast-paced, demanding environment.


Salaries and Benefits


The salary for this role is £27,248pa.
