The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of the Contract, including planning of works and managing performance. This role will involve people management, health & safety compliance, and assisting Contract Managers as necessary to deliver the requirements of our Telford Contract.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of Contract staff, through regular activity briefings and tool box talks. You will also give direct reports the opportunity to discuss their work, challenges, and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of Contract staff
  • Assist Contract Managers as necessary
  • Co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the Contract
  • Plan and manage works to ensure successful delivery
  • Manage budgets and costs to ensure targets are met
  • Ensure health and safety compliance

Requirements

  • IOSH level qualification
  • Horticultural qualification
  • Driving license
  • Previous experience in a grounds maintenance setting
  • Computer literacy
