We are seeking a skilled Blood Collection Supervisor to join our team in South Essex. As a Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day supervision of phlebotomy staff in outpatients, wards, and community clinics.
The successful candidate will work across multiple sites, including Basildon and Thurrock University Hospital, Southend University Hospital, and local community clinics. Shifts are variable, with a mix of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts from Monday to Friday, with regular weekend rotations.
A driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you will need to travel to various community clinic locations. The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key requirements include:
- 3 GCSE 'O' levels or equivalent, including English
- At least 12 months of previous phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy qualification
- Paediatric experience
- Domiciliary experience
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
