About the Role
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join our Radiotherapy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver radiotherapy treatment using available equipment, under the supervision of experienced Radiographers
- Calculate and record radiotherapy treatments accurately and maintain written records
- Ensure the well-being and care of patients during their radiotherapy treatment
- Maintain all treatment records to department standards
Requirements
- Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers
- State Registration with the HCPC
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Experience of a wide variety of Radiotherapy techniques & equipment
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people
- Ability to work as a team member
- Ability to work under own initiative
