Radiation Therapist

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced therapeutic radiographer to join our radiotherapy team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of radiotherapy treatment, ensuring accurate calculations and recording of treatments.
- Be responsible for the well-being and care of patients during their radiotherapy, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Manage a team of radiographers, utilizing your leadership and teamworking skills to ensure seamless delivery of treatment.
- Degree in Therapeutic Radiography or Diploma of College of Radiographers.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Experience of a wide variety of Radiotherapy techniques & equipment.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people, including patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
