Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Support Manager to join our team at https://www.energyjobline.com/sitemap. As a Product Quality Support Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure contract requirements are met.
  2. Review enquiry documents and prepare summary QA/QC documentation for quotation submission.
  3. Prepare and maintain product specifications and process procedures, including monitoring approval records.
  4. Prepare detailed SIR's (Strip and Inspection reports) for customer approval.
  5. Carry out all measurement requirements where required.
  6. Control of contract quality plans and monitor live QP's for daily status.
  7. Maintain and control NDE qualification records.
  8. Control of CAPA's (Nuclear).
  9. Certification checks and stamped sign off against standards and HT PO text.
  10. Control of MSDS and COSHH (Nuclear).
  11. Control of Sub-Contract deliveries monitoring progress, compliance, and due dates.
  12. Maintain and control of weld & welder qualifications where appropriate.
  13. Ensure changes in QA specifications are reflected in accordance with Engineering Manager's requirements.
  14. Monitor and incorporate changes to QA compliance integrating relevant design codes.
  15. Provide quality support to Sales, Operations, Production Engineering, Manufacturing and Test.
  16. Participate or lead quality improvement projects.
  17. Participate in supplier and internal and external QA audit activity.
  18. Area control on shopfloor or weekly 5S.
  19. Material Cert. check and population of data books for the customer.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 5 years' experience within a QA role at a similar manufacturing site.
  2. Ability to use a range of standard measuring equipment and understand calibration requirements.
  3. Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
  4. Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, SolidWorks (design).
  5. UK Passport Holder (not dual).
  6. A Full Driving Licence.

Desirable Knowledge/Experience

  1. Knowledge of GS3001 (RR Supplier Quality Management system requirements).
  2. Aerospace/automotive experience.
  3. IBR, PED pressure equipment experience.
  4. KBM/TBM Specification Knowledge.
  5. ASME I, VIII, V, II Knowledge.
  6. Epicor System Knowledge (Job planning).
  7. Knowledge of ISO.
  8. Internal & External Auditing experience.
  9. PCN Level II or III– Personal Qualification (Liquid Dye Penetrant) or Knowledge.
