Electronics Development Engineer Opportunity

Location: Harlow – Office Based

Salary: £36,000 to £39,000 DOE + 23 Days Holiday (Rising to 26 with Service) + Pension (With Enhanced Company Contributions) + Healthcare (Medicash) + Life Assurance + Group Income Protection + Employee Assistance Program + Additional Maternity & Paternity Schemes + Casual Dress + Bonus Scheme + Overtime (1.5x)

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00, Friday 08:00 to 15:30

We are seeking an Electronics Development Engineer to join our team at a highly successful manufacturing company located in Harlow. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company who have recently moved into a new premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with electronics design engineers to provide technical support and ensure products meet design specifications.
  2. Develop test strategies and test cases, and be responsible for producing test plans, procedures, and test reports.
  3. Test for tolerances, stress calculations, temperature effects, and other factors.
  4. Use electronic equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and more.
  5. Design and automate tests for production and conduct warranty investigations.
  6. Test and document circuit designs to ensure program objectives are met.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in test development in a R&D environment.
  2. Knowledge of electronics such as DC-DC converters, LED drivers, firmware, and more.
  3. Hold a degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, or a similar field.
  4. Confident using electronic equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and more.
