The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join their Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical assessments and treatment plans for children and young people with eating disorders.
The role will be based at the Crawley Down Health Centre, where the candidate will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based treatment. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the specialty and be able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty.
The Trust is committed to providing a safe and effective service to young people and their families. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to this shared value and support the functioning of the service in delivering its participation strategy.
The role attracts a Recruitment and Retention payment of £25,000, in addition to a relocation allowance. The RRP payment is paid in instalments, with £5000 paid on appointment, £5000 at 12 months, £6500 at 30 months, and £8500 at 48 months.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in research or service evaluation and have excellent communication skills. The role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and their families.
