Mental Health Clinical Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at GatwickIRC. This is a full-time position offering a competitive annual salary of up to £57,603, depending on experience.

This role provides a bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the NHS. Our team operates in a secure environment, making this a challenging yet rewarding role for healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership and management to registered nurses and care teams.
  • Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare as required.
  • Chair and facilitate healthcare meetings with the team and partners, offering clinical supervision and carrying out investigations locally and regionally.
  • Deliver workshops to develop team learning in areas such as clinical processes, documentation, patient care, and joint healthcare processes.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse Mental Health qualification.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development.
  • Understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
  • Non-judgmental and compassionate approach.
  • Existing line management experience and student nurse mentorship.
  • Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP, and national standards.
