About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Decontamination Technician to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our decontamination unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the processing of medical equipment.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in the day-to-day reprocessing of equipment required for clinical use, following demonstrated training and work instructions to maintain a high standard of quality. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient production and meet deadlines. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ISO13485/JAG/BSG requirements and apply this knowledge to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Numeracy and literacy skills are essential for this role.
- Previous experience in decontamination or a related field is desirable.
- IT literacy and ability to work with minimal supervision are also essential.
