About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Decontamination Technician to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our decontamination unit, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care by providing decontaminated flexible endoscopes for clinical use.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day reprocessing of flexible endoscopes required for clinical use.
  • Follow demonstrated training and work instructions to ensure production is to a high standard.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to provide decontaminated endoscopes for patient care.

Requirements

  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of effective communication skills when dealing with staff and users.
  • Previous decontamination experience and knowledge of ISO13485/JAG/BSG requirements are desirable.
