About the RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in the academic and personal growth of students at our Ofsted-rated 'Good' school in Upminster. Your primary responsibility will be to provide 1:1 and small group support to students, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
The ideal candidate will have a 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a leading UK university and previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting. Strong behaviour management skills and confidence in supporting SEND students are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, promoting progression and attainment.
- Aid students both in and out of the classroom, ensuring they make progress and achieve their full potential.
- Confidently manage behaviour and implement strategies to support students' success.
- Valuable CPD and extensive on-the-job training opportunities.
- A supportive and inclusive Senior Leadership Team environment.
- The chance to work with experienced professionals who share your passion for education.
This is a full-time, term-time only contract with a competitive salary of £450-£550 per week (via PAYE). As a valued member of our team, you will also receive excellent career development opportunities and ongoing support.
