A high-calibre Software Quality Assurance (SQA) expert is sought by Electus Recruitment Solutions to work with a leading engineering specialist. This organisation solves complex problems in various industries, including marine, space, aeronautics, defence, and cyberspace.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of software quality assurance principles and practices. As a key member of the project team, you will ensure that technical requirements are fully met, supporting the integration and acceptance process. Your expertise will contribute to the development of IVVTQA management plans and processes, utilising approved methods and resources.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work on diverse projects, applying your skills to drive excellence in software quality. You will be responsible for creating and executing IVVTQA activities according to approved plans, processes, and procedures. Additionally, you will maintain alignment with department and industry standards.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled SQA professional with experience in system engineering V&V lifecycle planning, delivery, and reporting. Your proficiency in evidence-based approaches for systems integration, validation, and acceptance is essential. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical report writing skills are also required.

Requirements
  • Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering/Software/Hardware engineering (SE processes and methodologies (iaw ISO 15288/ISO 29119/INCOSE))
  • Experienced in System Engineering V&V lifecycle planning, delivering and reporting
  • Proven experience of an evidence-based approach for Systems Integration, V&V and Acceptance
  • Systems thinking, logical approach, RCA/rectification/regression management
  • Good communication, stakeholder management, & technical report writing
Benefits

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of £39,000 - £48,000, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have opportunities for career growth and development within a dynamic and innovative engineering environment.

Please note that due to special nationality rules, this role is only open to sole British Citizens. Applicants must undergo security clearance vetting to SC level.
