Commercial Electrician

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Electrician - Solar Installations to join our team in South Wales. This full-time, permanent role involves installing, testing, inspecting, and maintaining solar systems for both commercial and domestic clients.

As a field-based role, this position requires strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and travel across South Wales. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in solar PV installations, preferably with a mix of commercial and domestic projects.

• System Installation: Install solar PV systems on commercial and residential sites, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Testing & Inspection: Conduct thorough testing and inspection of installations, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in solar PV systems, providing top-notch aftercare and maintenance services.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work, including installation details, testing results, and maintenance activities.
• Customer Interaction: Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients, offering clear information and assistance on system usage and performance.
• Travel Requirements: Be able to travel across South Wales, occasionally further afield, as required.
• Licenses & Certifications: Possess a full UK driving license and relevant certifications in solar PV installations.

The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £40,000 basic, plus overtime opportunities. Our competitive benefits package includes a company van, fuel card, and excellent overtime rates.
