Job Title: GP Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced GP Pharmacist to join our team at Green Light. As a GP Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in improving patient care and outcomes in general practice.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in General Practice. They will also hold a Certificate in Non-Medical Prescribing and have experience of using prescribing qualifications in General Practice.

The GP Pharmacist will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing clinical pharmacy leadership and taking responsibility for Structured Medication Reviews, chronic disease management, medicines optimisation, quality improvement, and other enhanced services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the work of less experienced pharmacy professionals
  • Provide clinical medicines advice and address public and social care needs of patients
  • Support practice staff with prescription and medication queries
  • Integrate with community and hospital pharmacy to improve patient outcomes
  • Manage GP workload and improve operational efficiencies
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in General Practice
  • Certificate in Non-Medical Prescribing
  • Experience of using prescribing qualifications in General Practice
  • Evidence of further education in clinical pharmacy
